CorelDRAW History and Developments

coreldraw history

As we know, CorelDRAW is a software graphics processor with a vector-based or line, where the underlying basic element is a line. The uniqueness of this vector-type graphic is that the image will have a relatively small file capacity size when compared to a bitmap-based graphics processor. However, the latest version of CorelDRAW includes a filter of bitmap effect filters in its own function, which can be used to manipulate the styling of objects in a desired image composition. Everything comes home to the creativity and imagination of its users.

Since it was first introduced in 1989 until now CorelDRAW has been developed until version X8 by Corel Corporation based in Otawa, Canada. Sotfware itself is very much in demand especially by graphic designers or graphic designers because it is easier to use to design, such as designing the company logo, stationery, posters, banners, packaging and many others.

The early history of CorelDRAW

Corel Corporation was originally founded by Dr. Michael Cowpland in 1985. He is a staff of Corel Corporation, selling Corel products to Intel Based Desktop Publishing System, which is the early history of CorelDRAW. Later in 1987, Corel Corporation recruited Michel Bouillon and Pat Beirnet as programmers.
